Position responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining an effective medical coding and billing operation. Manager will provide oversight of the entire client encounter, coding, billing and revenue collection cycle to ensure compliance with federal, state and program regulations and requirements. Position will supervise coding and billing employees. Requirements include excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills, experience with excel spreadsheets and excellent computer skills. 3 years minimum prior supervisory experience required. Experience in use of automated systems as well as programs such as Medicaid, Medicare required. BS in Business Administration or Finance and equivalent billing experience in Community Clinic/FQHC preferred. Professional Coding Certification (i.e. CPC, CMC or CCSP) required.
