A Personal Story

CARES is recruiting for a Development Director responsible for developing and implementing a plan to build a comprehensive, sustainable fundraising program. Plan to include an overall program design, timeline for development and execution of fundraising programs and activities including planned giving, annual gifts, major gifts, capital campaigns and foundation grants. Additional responsibilities include managing fundraising initiatives by fostering and cultivating relationships that includes the community at large, corporations, foundations, philanthropic organizations, clients, employees, providers, provider groups, vendors and volunteers. Incumbent responsible for maintaining accurate donor and prospect records, and overseeing donor relations, including donor stewardship and recognition.
